DMSO
Description: Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a chemical compound which is a by-product of wood processing. It has long been used as a chemical solvent. In the late 1960s, it also became popular as a topical pain relief medication for pulled, strained, and sprained muscles and joints.
As well as being a painkiller, DMSO is believe to be effective in treating acne, skin ulcers, herpes, and cataracts.
DMSO has anti-inflammatory properties when applied to the skin. It can help ease the pain of muscle injuries due to sports and fitness activities.
1 It may also ease pain associated with arthritis.

Useful in treatment of: Athletics and Sports, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis.

Recommended Dosage: DMSO is only available as a prescription drug.

Contraindications: Not enough is known about this drug. Use with caution.
